INTRODUCTION
Live an incredible experience in the largest salt desert in the world, the Salar de Uyuni, we will start from the city of La Paz, from here to the town of Uyuni. It will be 2 days of excursion, on the second day we will have our guided tour of the largest railway cemetery, the beautiful Incahuasi Island, we will arrive at the Salar where in certain season the nearby lakes overflow in a thin layer of water which causes a beautiful mirror effect.
Itinerario
DIA 1: La Paz - Uyuni
- We will start the excursion with the departure by tourist bus from La Paz – Uyuni.
DIA 2: Salar de Uyuni
- We will pick you up from the bus terminal in the city of Uyuni, you will be transferred to a cafeteria so you can have breakfast.
- Pick up from the cafeteria at 10:30 a.m., we will begin our excursion.
- We will start with the first stop at the Train Cemetery known as the largest railway cemetery in the world, continuing through Colchani to enter the Salar.
- On the way we will make several stops to see the salt extraction, eyes of the salt and visit the Salt Hotel of Playa Blanca that currently serves as a museum.
- Then we will see the incredible salt flat, also in the middle of the salt flat we will see the Incawasi Island, here we will find large cactus and fossils, finally we will pass by the popular monument to Dakar.
- Finally, we will enjoy a beautiful sunset on the water mirrors (depending on the season we will be able to see this effect).
- Return to the town of Uyuni.
