Excursion | Pariamanu Camp 2D/1N Embark on an exciting getaway to the Amazon rainforest with our Pariamanu Camp 2 days and 1 night package. Live the unique experience of jungle life with activities such as night caiman searching and bird watching, which includes the fascinating spectacle of the arrival of macaws. Immerse yourself in nature and create unforgettable moments in this wonderful trip to the jungle.

Itinerario

Day 1: Hostel in Tambopata - Sighting of nocturnal caimans
  • On the first day of this exciting adventure, you will be met by your guide at the bus terminal or picked up directly from your hotel. Then, we will head to our office in Puerto Maldonado, where you can check in and make last minute purchases, such as batteries or rain ponchos. Afterwards, we will head to the pier to begin a 4-hour trip in a motorized boat, enjoying lunch on board as we navigate the Madre de Dios, Piedras and Pariamanu rivers. During this journey, you will have the opportunity to contemplate the breathtaking panoramic views of the jungle on both sides of the boat, with possible sightings of native families and local activities. Arriving at the camp at sunset, we will settle into our tents and then venture out in the boat to observe caimans with the help of flashlights, before retiring to rest in our cozy camp.
DAY 2 Hostel in Tambopata - Parrot and Macaw Clay Lick
  • We will start early to witness the first event of the day: the arrival of parrots and parakeets, who usually arrive before the macaws. After enjoying the observation of these small parrots, we will return to the camp to enjoy breakfast. Afterwards, we will head back to the clay lick to witness the impressive spectacle of the arrival of the macaws. These majestic birds will perch in the nearby trees before descending in groups of 100 to 200 to feed on clay. This experience, full of flights and colorful calls, is sure to be unforgettable!
