Descripción
Palcoyo Mountain Tour 1 day from Cusco, is a new adventure route similar to the classic mountain of colors. It is located in the Vilcanota mountain range, in the district of Cusipata, department of Cusco. It is conformed by 3 mountains that have different tonalities, among which we find green, blue, red, white and yellow. Located at an altitude of 4900 meters above sea level. The climate is cold at this altitude, since we will be near the Ausangate snow-capped mountain.
Itinerario
Palcoyo Mountain Tour 1 day from Cusco
Our trip starts with the pick up from your hotel at 4 am. approx. (within the historical center of the city of Cusco).
Then we will begin our magical adventure and we will make a trip to the south of Cusco, until we reach Cusipata. On the way we will be able to see animals of the area and beautiful landscapes.
Once we reach our destination we will have a slow hike, where we will have access to privileged views of this part of the mountain range, with three colorful mountains visible from the highest point.
Afterwards, you will have an explanation from the guide and you will be able to take unforgettable pictures to remember your visit to Palcoyo Mountain.
After visiting Palcoyo, we will return to our vehicle to move for 1 hour to the bridge of Checacupe, a suspension bridge made by the Quechuas to favor the connection of the Inca Empire. Then, we will have lunch and rest for a while, after that, we will continue our trip back to the city of Cusco.
