DIA 1: Airport pick up and City Tour Lima

• We will start our Peru Fantastico Lima – Arequipa – Puno – Cusco 14D/13N tour with the reception at the airport and transfer to your hotel.
• We will start the city tour at 13:00 p.m. or 14:00 p.m., exploring downtown Lima and admiring the colonial buildings with more than 500 years of history.
• We will conclude the tour around 6:00 p.m. and you will spend the night in Lima.

DIA 2: Ballestas Island - Huacachina Oasis

• We will depart very early, at 03:30 a.m., from Lima to Paracas by bus. Once in Paracas, we will go to the dock to embark on a boat ride around the Ballestas Islands, where we will be able to observe the famous Candelabro, as well as seabirds, sea lions and Humboldt penguins for approximately 2 hours.
• After the tour, we will head to the Chaco boulevard to explore the local handicrafts, before being transferred to the bus station to continue our trip to Ica.
• Upon arrival in Ica, we will be met at the bus station and transferred to the Huacachina Lagoon, a natural oasis in the middle of the desert surrounded by palm trees. Here we will be able to enjoy the beautiful scenery and participate in activities such as sandboarding and tubular car rides.
• We will finish our excursion at 16:40 p.m. and spend the night in a hotel in the Oasis of Huacachina or Ica.

DIA 3: Nazca Overflight

• We will pick you up from your hotel in Ica or Huacachina, we will travel to Nazca, you will be picked up from the land terminal and then transferred to the airfield.
• Over flight in the Nazca lines (30 minutes approximately), we will reach to see 10 of the main geoglyphs.
• After the experience in the afternoon at 14:30 p.m. you will board a bus to the city of Arequipa (10 hours trip).

DIA 4: City tour Arequipa

• Continuing the tour Peru Fantastic Lima – Arequipa – Puno – Cusco 14D/13N we will pick you up at the terminal and transfer to the hotel of your choice, you will have the morning free for your rest.
• In the afternoon start of the city tour, you will visit the Monastery of Santa Catalina, Cathedral of Arequipa, Cloisters and Church of the Society of Jesus, San Francisco Complex and the viewpoints of Carmen Alto and Yanahuara.
• Return to the city arrival time 6:00 p.m. approx.

DIA 5: Colca Canyon

• 2:45 a.m. – 3:15 a.m. Transfer from your hotel (downtown area) to board our transportation.
  Arrival to Chivay and continental breakfast. Departure to the Mirador de la Cruz del Condor.
• Tour of the villages around the Colca Canyon and visits to natural viewpoints of the area and colonial temples, then we go to “La Calera” (hot springs). Lunch in Chivay.
• Salida de Chivay a Arequipa.
• 9:30 p.m. Transfer to the bus terminal in Arequipa with destination Puno bus Cama.

DIA 6: Uros Island and Amantani

• Arrival in Puno at 5:00 a.m., you will be transported to a cafeteria so you can have breakfast and if you want to take a shower.
  Then at approximately 7:30 a.m. we will start the excursion, you will be transported to the port to board the boat.
• You will visit the beautiful island of the Uros, learn about their customs and see their beautiful weavings, then continue to Amantani Island where we will enjoy a delicious local lunch
• We will continue with the tour of Amantani Island, we will spend the night in a family house.

DIA 7: Taquile Island

• We will start the day with a traditional breakfast prepared by the host family. Then we will say goodbye and continue our journey by boat to the island of Taquile. During the trip, we will be able to enjoy the beautiful scenery surrounding Lake Titicaca.
• Once on the natural island of Taquile, we will walk to the top of the island, where we will have the opportunity to explore the handicraft markets of the village and observe the different chullos (hats) made by the men of the island.
• Before leaving the island, we will enjoy a lunch with one of the typical dishes of the area, while contemplating a spectacular view of Lake Titicaca..
• After descending the 538 stone stairs, we will head towards the dock to take our boat back to the city of Puno..
• In the evening, we will go to the bus terminal to board the bus to Cusco..

DIA 8: City Tour Cusco

• In the afternoon we will start our City tour excursion, pick up at 12:40 p.m., with the meeting point at the main square of Cusco, specifically at the door of the cathedral. During the excursion, we will visit the Q’oricanca, an ancient temple dedicated to the sun.
• Then, we will head out of the city to explore Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Pucapucara and conclude with Tambomachay.
• The tour will conclude around 6:00 p.m., near the Plaza de Armas.

DIA 9: Sacred Valley Connection

• After breakfast, we will start the tour by picking you up at the hotel at 8 am to go to the archaeological site and the typical market of Pisaq, where we will enjoy a guided tour of 1 hour and 30 minutes.
• Afterwards, we will continue our trip on the Vilcanota River until we reach Urubamba, the capital of the Sacred Valley, where we will enjoy a buffet lunch with typical Andean food.
• In the afternoon, we will visit the Ollantaytambo Fortress and Citadel, where we will have a 1 hour and 20 minute guided tour. After exploring Ollantaytambo, you will have the opportunity to stroll through the picturesque streets of the town until arriving at the train station, where we will board our respective train to Aguas Calientes.
• Once at the Aguas Calientes train station, the hotel host will be waiting to welcome you.

DIA 10: Machu Picchu

• We arrive at the apex of the Peru Fantástico Lima – Arequipa – Puno – Cusco 14D/13N. The day will start early with an early pick up at the hotel to head to the bus station, where we will board the first bus to make sure we are the first to enter the citadel of Machu Picchu. Once at Machu Picchu, we will enjoy a 2 hour and 30 minute guided tour, during which detailed information about the site will be provided.
• After the guided tour, you will have free time to explore Machu Picchu on your own. Afterwards, we will return to the town of Aguas Calientes to enjoy a meal at one of the various restaurants available.
• In the afternoon, we will board the train back to Ollantaytambo from Aguas Calientes. Remember to be at the train station 20 minutes before the scheduled time. Once at the train station in Ollantaytambo, a representative will be waiting for us to transfer us to the hotel in Cusco. The trip by car will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.

DIA 11: Maras and Moray salt mines

• At 8:30 a.m., we will pick you up at your hotel with our vehicle (near or within the historic center), we will travel to the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
• Before reaching the agricultural terraces of Moray we will make a short stop in Chinchero to appreciate the beautiful textile work of this town.
• We will have a guided tour in Moray and then we will visit the salt mines of Maras, we will admire more than 1000 natural salt wells from the viewpoint.
• We will finish the excursion at 15:00 p.m. approximately.

DIA 12: Humantay Lagoon

• At 4:00 a.m., we will pick you up at your hotel with our vehicle (near or within the historic center) and head to the picturesque village of Mollepata, where we will enjoy breakfast. From there, we will continue our journey to Soraypampa, where we will begin a hike of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach the Humantay Lagoon, located at an altitude of 4,250 meters above sea level. During the hike, you will have the opportunity to appreciate the fauna and flora of the place.
• After visiting the lagoon, we will descend to Soraypampa and take our vehicle back to Mollepata, where we will enjoy a delicious lunch. Then, we will start our return trip to the city of Cusco, where we will arrive at approximately 6:00 p.m.

DIA 13: Mountain of Colors

• At 4:30 a.m., we will pick you up at your respective hotel (near or within the historic center) to begin our exciting adventure. We will drive for 2.5 hours in our vehicle through the South Valley until we reach the town of Tintinco, where we will enjoy a delicious breakfast. Then, we will continue our journey to the beginning of the trail known as Quesyuno (at an altitude of 4,326 m / 14,189 ft), where you will receive the final details before beginning a hike of approximately 2 to 2.5 hours with a moderate climb.
• Around 10:30 a.m., we will arrive at our destination, Vinicunca, also known as the Rainbow Mountain (at an altitude of 5,020 m / 16,466 ft.). Here you will have enough time to enjoy this unique landscape that the geography has to offer.
• After our visit to the colorful mountain, we will return to the starting point, where our transportation will be waiting to take us back to the village of Tintinco. There we will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch and then, after a short rest, we will start our return trip to Cusco, arriving at approximately 5:00 – 5:30 p.m. approximately.
• At 9:00 p.m. you will be transported to the bus terminal in Cusco to board the bus that leaves at 10:00 p.m. to Puno.

DIA 14: Transfer to the airport

• Depending on your flight or bus departure time, our transportation will pick you up at your hotel and take you to the airport or bus terminal. This marks the end of our Fantastic Peru Lima – Arequipa – Puno – Cusco 14D/13N
