First day

• A representative of Machu Picchu Journey will be waiting for you at the time of your arrival in Cusco to take you to your hotel.
• We will have the morning free to acclimatize.
• Our Cusco City tour experience begins at 14hrs, visiting the Inca temple of Qoricancha, also known as the temple of Santo Domingo then we will head to the outskirts of the city of Cusco, visiting the
• impressive terraces and temples of the great fortress of Sacsayhuaman following our tour we headed to the amphitheater of Qenco, then the great terraces, walls and staircases of Puka Pukara and finally
• Tambomachay after that we will return to Cusco.
• Approximate time of arrival to Cusco 18:30hrs, the transportation will leave us near the main square.

Second day

• This experience begins at 8:00 am, with the pick up from your hotel in Cusco, we will head towards the Sacred Valley of the Incas, until we reach the archaeological park of Pisaq, where we will have a guided tour of 1h30min. approx.
• Then we will descend to the town of Pisaq, we will visit the handicraft market, here we can buy souvenirs made with the hands of the same people of Pisaq.
• Then we head to Urubamba, where we will have a delicious buffet lunch.
• After lunch, we will go to the town of Ollantaytambo, to visit the archaeological complex, in the afternoon we will board the tourist train to the town of Aguas Calientes, this trip has a duration of 1h40min. approx.
• Upon arrival at the train station in Aguas Calientes a representative of Machu Picchu Journey will be waiting for you to take you to your hotel.
• In the evening the guide will come to your hotel to give you the last details for your visit to Machu Picchu.

Third day

• This great day begins with breakfast at the hotel, then we will go by tourist bus to the entrance of the great citadel of Machu Picchu in a 30min trip.
• Arriving at the entrance of Machu Picchu, we will start our tour, we will have a guided with all the informative part about 2hrs, then you will have free time to make an excursion on your own.
• At the end of the tour in Machu Picchu we will descend to the town of Aguas Calientes, here a delicious lunch awaits us in a good restaurant.
• In the afternoon we will board the Aguas Calientes – Ollantaytambo train.
• Upon arrival in Ollantaytambo, a Machu Picchu Journey representative will be waiting to bring you back to the city of Cusco and drop you off at your hotel.
• Arrival time in Cusco approx. 20:00hrs.

Fourth day

• This great experience begins between 4:00 – 4:30hrs. with the pick up from your hotel, and then head to the town of Molleta (2,900masl/9,514ft), this trip lasts 2hrs approx.
• Upon arrival to Mollepata we will have a delicious American breakfast of the area.
• Later we will go to the town of Soraypampa (3,900masl/12,795ft.) Here is the starting point where we will begin our hike uphill for an hour to reach the beautiful Humantay Lagoon (4,200masl/13,795ft.).,779ft.)
• Upon arrival we will enjoy the scenery, the crystalline color of the lagoon and a guided with all the information, we will also have enough time to take pictures.
• After visiting the Humantay lagoon, we will descend by the same road until we reach Soraypampa, a town where our transportation will be waiting for us to return to Mollepata, where we will have a delicious and comforting buffet lunch.
• After lunch we return to Cusco arriving at approximately 16:30hrs.

Fifth day

• This experience begins with pick up from your hotel at 8:00hrs approx.
• Then we will head to the archaeological center of Moray, a construction of several circular terraces, this makes it a unique tourist center, these terraces served as an Inca agricultural laboratory.
• Then we will go to the salt mines of Maras, a site of impressive platforms with thousands of white wells, these salt mines were used for hundreds of years even before the Incas, today the villagers maintain the use as their ancestors did.
• After our visit to Maras, we will return to the city of Cusco, arriving at 15:00hrs approx.

Sixth day

• This great experience starts very early, between 4:00 to 4:30hrs. We will head south for an average of two hours until we reach the community called Tintinco (3,310masl/10,859ft.), to have a delicious local breakfast.
• Then we continue our journey for another hour to reach the starting point of the hike (Llacto).
• This hike has a duration of 1h40min. approx. at a moderate pace.
• When we reach the top of the Seven Colors Mountain (5,080masl/16,666ft) our guide will give us an explanation about the orography, we will also have free time to take pictures.
• After the excursion, we will have to return by the same road to the point where our transportation left us to return to the town of Tintinco, where a delicious and comforting buffet lunch awaits us.
• Finally we return to the city of Cusco, arriving at 16:30hrs approx.

Seventh day

• Our transportation will pick you up from your hotel between 4:30am to 5:00am, you will travel to the village of Sangarará where you will have breakfast, then you will start a 2 hour walk until you reach the fortress of Saqsayhuaman. After the tour you will return to Sangarará where you will have lunch. Finally you will return to Cusco and arrive at 7pm approx. hotel night in Cusco.

Eighth day

Our transportation will be at the indicated time to take you to the Cusco airport or bus terminal. Culminating our Machu Picchu 8D/7N tour services.
