This incredible Tour Cusco and Machu Picchu 5D/4N is full of adventures, we start the first day with a visit to the temple of the sun Qoricancha, the fortress of Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, then Pukapukara and finish visiting Tambomachay known as the baths of the Inca. To access these attractions we will need the general ticket that will serve us the first day and the second day in which we will visit the Sacred Valley.
The second day we will leave very early to the Sacred Valley where we visit the archaeological site of Pisac, then we will have a break for lunch in Urubamba and then continue through the Sacred Valley to reach the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo or called Fortress, at the end of the guided tour awaits the train that will take us to Machu Picchu village where we will spend the night.
Very early in the morning we will board the buses that will leave us at the door of the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, we will have a guided tour of 2.5 hours in which we can appreciate the architecture of the Inca empire as well as a variety of flora and fauna present in the Sanctuary. In the afternoon we will return to the city of Cusco to finish the day.
The fourth day we will visit the mountain of colors also known as the Rainbow Mountain or Vinincunca during the journey to the mountain we will have the privilege to observe mountains, snow-capped mountains as well as llamas and alpacas, the mountain is located at an altitude of 5200 meters above sea level. On the last day of our tour we will have transportation to the International Airport Teniente Alejandro Velasco Astete.
Itinerario
Day 1: ARRIVAL TO CUSCO – CITY TOUR CUSCO (AFTERNOON)
First day
A representative of Machu Picchu Journey will be waiting for you at the time of your arrival in Cusco to take you to your hotel.
We will have the morning free to acclimatize.
Our Cusco City tour experience begins at 14hrs, visiting the Inca temple of Qoricancha, also known as the temple of Santo Domingo then we will head to the outskirts of the city of Cusco, visiting the impressive terraces and temples of the great fortress of Sacsayhuaman following our tour we head to the amphitheater of Qenqo, then the great terraces, walls and staircases of Puka Pukara and finally Tambomachay after that we will return to Cusco.
Approximate time of arrival in Cusco 18:30hrs, the mobility will leave us near the main square.
Day 2: SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS– AGUAS CALIENTES
Second day
This experience begins at 8:00hrs, with the pick up from your hotel in Cusco, we will head towards the Sacred Valley of the Incas, until we reach the archaeological park of Pisaq, where we will have a guided tour of 1h30min. approx.
Then we will descend to the village of Pisaq, we will visit the handicraft market, here we can buy souvenirs made with the hands of the same people of Pisaq.
Then we head to Urubamba, where we will have a delicious buffet lunch.
After lunch, we will go to the town of Ollantaytambo, to visit the archaeological complex, in the afternoon we will board the tourist train to the town of Aguas Calientes, this trip has a duration of 1h40min. approx.
Upon arrival at the train station in Aguas Calientes a representative of Machu Picchu Journey will be waiting for you to take you to your hotel.

In the evening the guide will come to your hotel to give you the last details for your visit to Machu Picchu.
Day 3: MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO
Third day
This great day begins with breakfast at the hotel, then we will go by tourist bus to the entrance of the great citadel of Machu Picchu in a 30min trip.
Arriving at the entrance of Machu Picchu, we will have a guided tour with all the information about 2hrs, then you will have free time to make an excursion on your own.
At the end of the tour in Machu Picchu we will descend to the town of Aguas Calientes, here a delicious lunch awaits us in a good restaurant.
In the afternoon we will board the Aguas Calientes – Ollantaytambo train.
Upon arrival in Ollantaytambo, a Machu Picchu Journey representative will be waiting to bring you back to the city of Cusco and drop you off at your hotel.
Arrival time in Cusco approx. 20:00hrs.
Day 4: SEVEN COLOR MOUNTAIN
Fourth day
This great experience starts very early, between 4:00 to 4:30hrs. We head south for an average of two hours until we reach the community called Tintinco (3,310masl/10,859ft.), to have a delicious local breakfast.
Then we continue our journey for another hour to reach the starting point of the hike (Llacto).
This hike has a duration of 1h40min. approx. at a moderate pace.
When we reach the top of the Seven Colors Mountain (5,080masl/16,666ft) our guide will give us an explanation about the orography, we will also have free time to take pictures.
After the excursion, we will have to return by the same road to the point where our transportation left us to return to the town of Tintinco, where a delicious and comforting buffet lunch awaits us.
Finally we return to the city of Cusco, arriving at 16:30hrs approx.
Day 5: DEPARTURE FROM HOTEL AND TRANSPORT TO AIRPORT.
Fifth day
Our transportation will be at the indicated time to take you to the Cusco airport or bus station.
