This incredible Tour Cusco and Machu Picchu 4 days 3 nights, lasts 4 days full of adventures. We start the first day with a visit to the temple of the sun Qoricancha, the fortress of Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo archaeological complex, then Pukapukara and finally we will visit Tambomachay or known as the Inca spa.

The second day we will leave early to the Sacred Valley where we will visit the archaeological site of Pisac, then we will have a break for lunch in Urubamba and then continue to the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo or commonly called Fortress, at the end of the guided tour the train will take us to Machu Picchu town where we will spend the night.

Very early in the morning we will board the buses that will leave us at the door of the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, we will have a guided tour of 2.5 hours to appreciate the architecture and engineering of the Inca empire as well as a variety of flora and fauna present in the Sanctuary. In the afternoon we will return to the city of Cusco to finish the day, the fourth and last day of our tour we will have transportation to the International Airport Teniente Alejandro Velasco Astete.

Itinerario

DÍA 1: ARRIBO A CUSCO – CITY TOUR CUSCO (TARDE)

First day

A representative of Machu Picchu Journey will be waiting for you at the time of your arrival in Cusco to take you to your hotel.
We will have the morning free to acclimatize.
Our Cusco City tour experience begins at 14hrs, visiting the Inca temple of Qoricancha, also known as the temple of Santo Domingo then we will head towards the outskirts of the city of Cusco, visiting the impressive terraces and temples of the great fortress of Sacsayhuaman following our tour we head towards the amphitheater of Qenqo, then the great terraces, walls and staircases of Puka Pukara and finally Tambomachay after that we will return to Cusco.
Approximate time of arrival to Cusco 18:30hrs, the transportation will leave us near the main square.

DIA 2: VALLE SAGRADO DE LOS INCAS – AGUAS CALIENTES

Second day

This experience begins at 8:00 am, with the pick up from your hotel in Cusco, we will head towards the Sacred Valley of the Incas, until we reach the archaeological park of Pisaq, where we will have a guided tour of 1h30min. approx.
Then we will descend to the town of Pisaq, we will visit the handicraft market, here we can buy souvenirs made with the hands of the same people of Pisaq.
Then we head to Urubamba, where we will have a delicious buffet lunch.
After lunch, we will go to the town of Ollantaytambo, to visit the archaeological complex, in the afternoon we will board the tourist train to the town of Aguas Calientes, this trip has a duration of 1h40min. approx.
Upon arrival at the train station in Aguas Calientes a representative of Machu Picchu Journey will be waiting for you to take you to your hotel.
In the evening the guide will come to your hotel to give you the last details for your visit to Machu Picchu.

DIA 3: MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO

Third day

This great day begins with breakfast at the hotel, then we will go by tourist bus to the entrance of the great citadel of Machu Picchu in a 30min trip.
Upon arrival at the entrance of Machu Picchu, we will start our excursion, we will have a guided tour with all the information about 2hrs, then you will have free time to make a tour on your own.
At the end of the tour in Machu Picchu we will descend to the town of Aguas Calientes, where a delicious lunch awaits us in a good restaurant.
In the afternoon we will board the train Aguas Calientes – Ollantaytambo.
Upon arrival in Ollantaytambo, a Machu Picchu Journey representative will be waiting to bring you back to the city of Cusco and drop you off at your hotel.
Arrival time in Cusco approx. 20:00hrs.

DIA 4: SALIDA DEL HOTEL Y TRANSPORTE AL AEROPUERTO.

Fourth day

Our transportation will be at the indicated time to take you to the Cusco airport or bus terminal.
